All that glitters is not gold, because, well, sometimes it’s @swarovski. Presenting here the gorgeous @hoskelsa, the blonde bombshell who will wear this year’s shamazing Swarovski look at the @victoriassecret Fashion Show next week in Shanghai. “Glamour and wow factor,” says our own La Neophitou of the look - “sparkles, shine and fantasy,” adds VS's @monica.mitro. Three of our most favourite words. The science part: 275,000 crystals, 200 yards of woven ribbon and pavé crystals, hand-beaded jewels and a crystallised set of wings that weighs in at 14 pounds. OTT, fabulousness, and THOSE wings. Wowza. A fitting celebration for the 15 year-anniversary of the collaboration between Victoria’s Secret and Swarovski. Roll on the show - we’re on our way! ROLAND MOURET RESORT: We are all well aware that Mr Mouret is a safe pair of hands when it comes to serving up a dose of “Parisienne chic” season on season, but what is perhaps lesser known is the Frenchman’s infatuation with our own fair isle. Britain is where he has long called home – the @roland_mouret design studio is here and, as of two seasons ago, it’s where Roland has chosen to show his collections – swapping the vaulted halls of Paris for the Brutalist concrete lobby of London’s National Theatre to celebrate 20 years in the business. But it’s away from London for this, his Resort 2018 collection, and to the beach – not the promenades of St Tropez, or Cannes, where you may expect a Resort collection to naturally reside – but those along the Suffolk coastline, where Britain meets the rugged North Sea. Point here being – from Paris to Mayfair to the beaches of England, and just about all that comes between, these are clothes that women can wear anywhere they may choose to be. Because these are, at heart, clothes for women. Which may sound obvious, but it’s not always so – few people have Roland’s inimitable skill of draping and slicing fabric to create clothing that both flatters and emphasises the female form. Mr Mouret knows what women want. And here, whilst Mouret’s hallmark’s remain – namely, the focus on the body, and the waist, the overlapping, asymmetric panels – there is a renewed sense of looseness that has defined his collections of late. The handkerchief hemline is pervasive throughout this latest collection, lending the silhouette a welcome fluidity, so too the suspended neckline that falls away to reveal the shoulder. Layered peplums give easy volume, whilst tweed tailoring is cut to give his woman room to move. This Resort collection, then, becomes less about clothes to wear in far-off climes – but to wear every day, and to look mighty fabulous whilst doing so. Head to 10magazine.com to see the rest of the collection…

THE ROAD TO THE RUNWAY: Squeals! This one's a biggie - a first look behind-the-scenes at how the VS x BALMAIN collaboration, which will appear on the runway at this year's @victoriassecret Fashion Show in Shanghai, came together. Lucky you! The whole thing's obviously inducing much excitement in the Towers - we are certifiably obsessed with Mr @olivier_rousteing and here, in Episode 5 of The Road to the Runway series, he works alongside our Editrix-in-Chief Sophia and the rest of the VS family to create the "Punk Angel" of the show - a section that pools the enormous talents of Olivier, the @balmain design team and Victoria's Secret to create pure fashion fantasy. And this isn't only for walking the runway, but down the street too - the collaboration will also include an exclusive punk-inspired capsule collection which will be hitting Victoria's Secret stores on November 29th, the day after the show airs on CBS. Christmas comes early this year, kids. Click the link in bio to watch the full film. Go!

“I suppose this collection celebrates the spirit of these photographers I have always loved – sometimes ironic, sometimes tender, finding the humour and the beauty and the pathos and the sheer glorious eccentricity of the British way of dressing,” Christopher Bailey told @claudia.croft in the latest issue of 10 Magazine of his September 2017 collection, as news breaks this week that he will be leaving his role at @burberry next March.
The interview is accompanied by images by legendary British photographer @derekridgers, styled by @tarasthill. Here @lilisumner wears wears a look from Burberry’s September 2017 collection. Dearest Tenners tonight I had the very best night ever!!!! After a day of shooting on the sunny streets of Paris I was invited to the most wonderful dinner ever at my home away from home with this beautiful man Azzedine Alaia. After a long days work he slaved over a hot stove to cook us the most glorious supper. I didn't think things could get any better but yes they did, he then, like two mischievous children took me into the store through the back entrance from the kitchen on flicked the lights and there I was let loose to chose whatever my heart desired!!! Obviously I became a little hysterical (bloody understatement) was totally like a little girl in a candy store. And when I couldn't imagine things getting any better we then slipped through another doorway to see next seasons collection breathtaking would be an understatement, honestly felt like all my Christmas' had come at once, excited? Yes!!Hysterical with happiness, Yes!!! I can never express my gratitude for his generosity always and can never thank him enough for this true inspirational artist who constantly strives to endlessly challenge himself and gift his amazing vision to us all, a true king with the biggest heart in fashiondom. The perfect night! Sophia Neophitou Art Julian Schnabel #azzedinealaia#kingoffashion#fashiongod#inspiration#amazing#youtakemybreathaway#love#gratitude
FANTASY BRA: Have you ever worn two million dollars worth of gold, diamonds and precious gemstones across your breasts? Us neither. But that’s probably because we don’t happen to be a @victoriassecret model, and not just any Victoria’s Secret model, THE Victoria’s Secret model – the Angel of Angels who is bestowed the highest honour of wearing the Fantasy Bra each year, following in the footsteps of legendary lady supers Gisele, Heidi, Claudia et al. This year, the task will fall to Brazilian bombshell Ms @laisribeiro, who will wear the “Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra” at the show in Shanghai next month, a bra made from 18k gold, yellow sapphires and blue topaz, coming with its very own matching bejewelled belt, all designed by the incredible @mouawadjewelry. It’s a stunner. Congratulations Lais!
BREAKING: It’s the end of an era. Truly. In news that broke just moments ago, Christopher Bailey is to step down from his roles at @Burberry in March next year. Christopher has been Chief Creative Officer of the house since 2001, becoming Chief Executive in 2014, and is widely considered to have transformed the British house into the international fashion player that it is today. “It has been the great privilege of my working life to be at Burberry, working alongside and learning from such an extraordinary group of people over the last 17 years. Burberry encapsulates so much of what is great about Britain,” said Bailey in an announcement this morning. ”It has been a truly inspiring place to work and the decision to leave was not an easy one. I do truly believe, however, that Burberry’s best days are still ahead of her and that the company will go from strength to strength with the strategy we have developed and the exceptional talent we have in place led by Marco.” No news yet as to who will take the reigns when he leaves next year- but we wish Christopher the absolute best of luck with whatever comes next. Thank you for the years. *sob*
THE ROAD TO THE RUNWAY: We wish that our jobs involved jetting off to Paris to be surrounded by feathers and wings and beads and sequins and bras (oh my!) but unfortunately, that’s not real life. That is, unless your name is Sophia Neophitou, in which case, it is – as evidenced by this latest episode in @victoriassecret The Road to the Runway series, where La Neophitou and Victoria’s Secret’s Monica Mitro meet the litany of massively talented artisans, artists and designers – from couturier @serkancuracouture to shoe designer @brian_atwood, and many more in between – whose incredible craft makes the Victoria’s Secret Show the visual orgy it always proves to be. Get a taste for the collaborative process that goes into the construction of the show and each individual look (from “Ah-MAY-zing” to “back to the drawing board” – Ms Neophitou) by watching the full episode above. And did we mention – it’s less than a month to go? *Internal scream* Watch the full film by clicking the link in our bio…
VICTORIA'S SECRET FITTINGS: Where do we start? A lady who needs no introduction, but we will anyway - it's Ms @stellamaxwell, @victoriassecret veteran, ex-10 cover star and certified VS Angel. She can even fly. Apparently. All is revealed when she’s quizzed by Ten's own Garth Spencer as she goes down in the VS HQ lift in the film above. Click the link in our bio to see more from the series - taken during the fittings for this year's show in Shanghai. Countdown!
