I released a new HERO6 SlowMo video on my YouTube channel! Full video link in my profile description! @twallisch and I met up for some fun laps at @mammothmountain to test out the HERO6 early prototype last June. Coincidentally we arrived during the 3 days that mammoth was rebuilding all of the big jumps so you get a rare glimpse into Wallisch showing off his pipe skills and getting creative on the small jumps :) Thankfully with 240 fps jump size doesn't really matter! This video was shot entirely with HERO6 and Karma Grip. In the edit there's no stabilization added in post, as well as no optical flow - all of the slowmo is straight from the camera!
I may have a GoPro giveaway later this week but in the meantime, if you tag 3 friends and let me know your favorite video of mine I will pick a few and send some sweet GoPro post-cards :) // #gopro#hero6#mammothmountain#karmagrip#slowmotion#goproslowmotion#240fps#mammoth#parkskiing#tomwallisch@mammothmountain@gopro@lineskis
On the subject of rocky boats... here @ryankontra and I are somewhere off the coast of Sumatra, shooting for the surf segment of the HERO6 Reel. We're hovering Karma in place to show how much the boat was going up and down in the swell. On this trip we didn't touch land for 9 days straight! We had some eerie stormy weather throughout our trip; this particular session was where @kai_lenny gets the epic stormy barrel and hack in the video. We figured we probably wouldn't use cloudy footage if we could get perfect sunsets, but the storm offered some unique surroundings and the HERO6 brought out the glassy aqua colors in the water, even in low light! // #gopro#hero6#indiestrader3#mentawais#indonesia#sumatra
