my family just sent me my new movado photo in a magazine back home! Movado created the first timepiece without a dial and numbers in 1947. The designer was considered nuts - “who doesn’t use numbers to tell time??” was the response. So now, people who wear it are unique – they don’t want to be like anyone else.
This is one of the reasons I love the brand so much. Classic, elegant, and completely individual- I don't let the typical define me and I never have. It's this thinking outside the box mentality that I love and that I encourage everyone to do. Movado represents the unique part of me that did things that made everyone say "that's not how it's done!" How do you feel you don't let numbers define you? @movado
Happy anniversary to two of my favorite people, who teach me about what love really is everyday. #Repost@mrjakeabel ・・・
Four years ago today a dream came true. Because four years ago today I had the honor of marrying the kindest, most elegant, most beautiful woman I’ve ever known. She’s my best friend, my confidant and my strongest supporter. (To call her my rock would serve a proportionally grave injustice.) Four years ago today my life was forever enriched because four years ago today, she said “yes.” Thank you Mom + Dad Wood for this greatest gift. Thank you @alliewood for choosing me.
(Now let’s all get drunk and celebrate like we’re back in New Orleans)
Check out my interview with instyle- all about my trip to Malawi and what you can do to help. I want to emphasize the positive effect that small donations have on the region and how a little bit can make a big difference- (of course big donations are welcome too!) and preventing the spread of these diseases will benefit us all. Thank you for reading and much http://www.instyle.com/videos/actress-alexandra-daddario-hiv-malaria-malawi?kvnlk
(Link to donate in bio. Please google for the article as I have no idea how to put 2 websites into my bio)
