Slide right for more photos. Knife by @bladerunnerssystems
Some photos from the apple adventure we had. I really really like the look of the Evolve “Minuteman” blade by @bladerunnerssystems. It is definitely an eyecatcher and I’ve received a couple compliments on its appearance. I was using it to slice through some wild apples me and the pup found out on our hike. Besides being razor sharp, it’s very easy to fold out due to a bearing driven pivot system that guides the knife seamlessly out to its frame lock mechanism. It’s a perfectly sized EDC constructed with Titanium handles, Ti Black coating that provides an excellent barrier for any possible corrosion. The blade is made out of one of the best knife steels out there, S35VN which is highly acknowledge for its durability but also easy to sharpen. The blade was Ti Black coated as well but was still very sharp (sometimes the coating can hinder the sharpness but not with this model). The pocket clip is streamlined closely to the blade and my only complaint about the clip itself is that the knife does not rest deep in the pocket. Some people might like that though due to easier access. The knife is made with high quality materials which bring it to the retail of $189. It Also comes with some nice extras that include a really cool protective carrying case. The warncliffe tip has a slight curve that I like a lot too (added slicing power). The opening hole fits in with the sleek profile and though I am more used to thumb disc, the assisted opening mechanism this has make that not really an issue. There are some other really cool designs from the series so if you want to check them out you can go visit @bladerunnerssystems page.
