#Breakfast time! #Banana#Oatmeal sprinkled with #chia, #sesame seeds and #hemp seeds - I need the extra #protein from the seeds after my interval training this morning! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chia seeds are an excellent source of #omega3 fats, protein and #antioxidants, while hemp #seeds offer an incredible array of essential #minerals, protein and #aminoacids. Sesame seeds meanwhile offer #calcium, #copper, which is essential for numerous enzymatic reactions in the body, and an #antioxidant boost.
A tip for those of you with #digestive issues - soak your oats overnight before cooking them. It starts breaking them down & makes them far more digestible. It's also a great idea to pre-soak your seeds in the porridge overnight too! (I just can't do that as I'm catering for various different dietary requirements). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Inspired by our meal out at Grappolo last week... Chicken and Chorizo salad with a balsamic reduction accompanied by steamed broccoli, asparagus and baby corn #foodgloriousfood
The food truck options in Brisbane are exploding in number! Almost every event has whatever you could think of to eat. You can even follow your favourite food trucks online. Here's the Rolls Pho Mi chicken curry salad bowl that I devoured at the RACQ Motor Fest on the weekend. The salad made the delicious curry chicken and noodles almost feel virtuous! Plus it was gluten free! #littlemissbrisbane#foodtrucks#rollsphomi#racqmotorfest
