My aunt Darlene wrote this beautiful testimony about what God has done in my aunt Delphine's life. I couldn't have said it any better so I'm "borrowing". #Godisable "This is my sister, Delphine Mathis. This time last year she was unable to join us for our annual Thanksgiving family dinner because in September 2016 she was diagnosed with leukemia, and was not well enough to come. Thanks be to God, she is now cancer free and looking FABULOUS! Her story is amazing, she endured numerous treatments, never lost her faith and used this interruption to be a blessing to other patients and medical staff as well. The doctors were baffled at her progress, she never needed a bone marrow transplant, her numbers defied the odds. I don't think we knew how really serious this was because she didn't experience the typical symptoms. She never said she "had leukemia", would only say she was diagnosed with it....she knew it wasn't hers to keep.
I am so thankful to have my sister with me this year!"
