Small business real talk : it has always been one of my greatest missions with running this business to keep our kits low cost and accessible. With that, I’d like to share some updates and future changes. In the past year, embroidery hoops have become much harder to source, DMC floss prices have risen our USA based Aida manufacturer has gone out of business, and costs of living have continued to increase. I’ve been able to work through all of these woes and I think have found an even better source for our Aida (albeit it’s a German company and more than three times the price). All of this is to say our kit prices will rise at the beginning of next year. It’s just a few dollars and I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone from continuing their crafting dreams. All of our PDFs will still be available for $5 and shipping costs will remain the same. It’s important to be clear and transparent when running a small business. It’s important to support women makers, queer businesses and artists alike. My goal is to inspire and create. I am not running this business to become rich, in fact this is my ever growing part time job. I am forever grateful for our friends and fellow crafters. And hey- use these next few months to buy up everything before the prices go up! Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting. Xo.
