Every year, around the holiday season, I can’t help but get nostalgic about this amazing place. For anyone who knows me on a personal level, or follows me, it’s very clear that the Tetons hold a very special place in my heart. No matter how many times I stand in front of this amazing range I always seem to be scrambling to pick my jaw up off the ground. I was exposed to this place as a child, nearly a century ago, and it is where my love for the mountains developed. I also spent many years as an adult here and although I currently reside in Colorado, Jackson will always feel like home to me. This is the place where I was introduced to my first, and still only, true love, CLIMBING! Jackson also saved me from the pits if despair when it came to my horrific love affair with addiction. In many ways, I have this very special place to thank for molding me into the person I am today. So thank you Jackson Hole, and the Tetons, for having such a positive and profound impact on my life!
