Exercise: Single Leg Lunge

The single leg lunge is one of my favorite exercises for women because it isolates each leg while working on practically your entire lower body. Start by placing your off foot on a bench or chair, anything that is elevated above the foot you will be lunging with. You want to position yourself so you have enough room to do a proper lunge, balance is key here. The focus is to keep your back straight and push through the heel. At no point in time should your knee ever go further than your toe!
