Photo by @CristinaMittermeier // Enoughness is something I have been thinking about for a while as a way to enrich ourselves and create sustainable solutions for our planet. Spending time with Indigenous people has taught me that abundance is not measured in the things that we own, but in the strength of our human spirit, and in the depth of our connection to the natural world. From the Amazon to the Arctic, these communities nurture an intimate awareness of the web of relationships that have sustained them in harmony with nature, for millennia. For the Quechua people in the highlands of Peru, the llama is not a beast of burden, but a brother and a member of the family. Do you have a furry friend who belongs in this way to your family? Fight Fire With Fire | Photograph by Kyle Miller (@wyoming_hotshots)
.
Four members of the Wyoming Hotshots crew use a controlled burn, called backfiring, to fight a wildfire in Custer, South Dakota. With a controlled burn, firefighters can burn up vegetation and fuel in the path of the main wildfire, slowing down its momentum.

Today we are featuring @natgeoyourshot photographs selected for @natgeo “Photo of the Day.” To see more, go to natgeo.com/pod. #YourShotPhotographer

With @natalyosmann. #followmeto Singapore Infinity pool with the inflatable duck. This was one of the initial crazy ones we took. It was around 7 a.m and we were trying to blow up this duck around people that decided to come and sunbath and enjoy the view. ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
Also this was a time when I jumped in a pool with a phone with all the photos we took in Bali and as I you can understand it died and Nataly almost killed me as she recorded some of here interviews on it. Back then our account was really small and we were doing our photos just for fun for about a year. Didn’t realise that it is going to grow into such a community. Thank you guys for all the support that you given us over the years. ❝¿¿Do we have here anyone who followed us from the beginning??❞:)

Mountaineering, photography, drawing — it all came together for British photographer and alpinist Ben Tibbetts (@bentibbettsphotography) at university. “I was studying history of art and fine art, and to pay my way, I was working as a climbing instructor,” says Ben, who now lives part of the year in France. Just beyond his doorstep, he’s spent the past few years climbing all 82 of the European Alps’ peaks that are 4,000 meters or higher and is publishing a book detailing the journeys’ technical routes, historical context and personal stories. “The routes range from easy to really quite hard alpinism, and I’ve climbed every single one of them,” says Ben, who took photos of the mountain landscapes throughout his expeditions. “Being in these mountains is humbling. It’s so beautiful, delicate and majestic — and we all need to do our bit to keep it like it is.” Today on our story, join Ben on an alpine expedition. 🌬️
