For the past two weeks I have made every excuse not to work out. Now, legitimately I lead a very full life and juggling kids, recording, writing, performances, travel, home keeping, puppy raising, school board, garden maintenance and entertaining means I do not have a lot of free time. But yesterday I realized that it’s not about being busy it’s about priorities. And I prioritize ALL those things over my health and fitness and that’s BS because everything in my life depends on me being fit and healthy. So I gave myself a massive kick in the ass and got back on my @onepeloton bike. My favorite workout and the most efficient. For 45 minutes I wallowed in a 90’s pop ride with @emmalovewell and it was awesome. I was back on the bike today. I feel better, eat better, sleep better, even SING better when I’m regularly working out. And with peloton it’s the trifecta, I’m working my body, the instructors inspire and motivate me like no therapist ever could and when I get off the bike my spirit is soaring. So I’m holding myself accountable and committing to prioritizing my health and fitness. Keep me in check friends, feel free to ask me how I’m doing!
Tomorrow I take my 200th ride with my all time fav instructor @jesskingnyc fellow riders, see you at 1.30?
For now, I’m in the hammock in the back garden with a rosé spritzer watching my kids and puppies play! .
