Hard to believe it is going to be our 10 year anniversary next summer, got an FB memory on a post I wrote "5 Things I Know For Sure About Being Married After 5 Years" found here http://limitlesswomen.ca/5-things-i-know-for-sure-about-being-married-after-5-years. Looking back all of these points (listed below), they are still so important in order to maintain a healthy, loving and most of all fulfilling relationship. Since then we have been through so much that tested our relationship, the #death of a parent, moving, new jobs, new family dynamics....we even went on a #marriage retreat that totally changed how we 'communicate' a.k.a 'fight' with one another- #soworthit thank-you @ceniojukan!Reading the post my heart swelled at the line " ...I am in complete awe of my husband" because to this day I can honestly say that I still am:) Here is an excerpt: 1.Love is not enough.
2.If one person stops growing and evolving as a person it can negatively affect the relationship.
3. Define your love and marriage frequently by listening to each other, talk about how you want to love and be loved consistently.
4. Never underestimate the power of #romance and consistent acts of romance.
5. Fully understand how false #ideologies on the expectations of marriage and the roles of wife, husband, mother, father can impact your relationship.
