As you must have seen, movement is one of the main pillars of Yes You Can! . The problem is that sometimes we don’t know how to incorporate movement in our every day, may it be because of our lifestyle, locale, or any other reason. But to include movement in your daily routine will be vital to accomplish that goal that you so wish and long for.
Walking is easiest from the list of movements and exercises you can incorporate without requiring major changes in your daily routine. Not only is it good for diminishing the risk or presence of certain diseases, but it also helps lower stress, helps with brain function, and what we’re most interested, helps the body use more stored calories which burns more fat and reduces centimeters (inches) from your body.
If you don’t walk yet, incorporate it today. If you already do, the increase the amount of minutes you walk and make goals to walk the same distance in less time. I.e. if you walk a mile (or kilometer) in an hour, work towards walking it in 45 minutes next time and to gradually decrease in time. You’ll soon see that your efforts were worth it.
