That’s my word for this year. I wasn’t even sure what that meant when I picked it. It just felt right. And I had to just "trust the process” as we say in our family. If you know me you know this is something I hold to a very high standard. No BS. To be congruent. To walk, talk, give, receive, and be TRUE to who you are. I have learned to balance this with kindness and grace as I get older.
Moving to a far off island in the South Pacific has been a very growing experience. Its beautiful. Beauty that I have never experienced in my life. Being a wife, a mom, running a business, staying healthy, staying close to my family and friends on the mainland, making new amazing friends that connect you in ways that are so unique to this island and your survival. So many blessings from this experience.
It has also challenged me in ways I never knew I could go. Pushed my patience to realms of the unknown. Our first Cyclone, heat like I have never felt, slow ass wifi, corrupt government, undrinkable water, roaches, rats, diarrhea and dengue fever. Just to name a few of the challenges. But with this comes a huge amount of growth and gratitude. I am so grateful for Jason who helps me find the courage everyday to go after what I want.
I am still blown away and continually grateful for Rodan & Fields and what it does for me and my family everyday. It is WAY beyond skincare. I never thought in a million years I could work a business in the nooks and crannies of my day. To create the rhythm and peace in my days as I saw fit, not my employer. To not have to worry about sick days, vacation days or even where we might be living that given year. It has given me the strength and courage to live TRUE.
Lastly, and most importantly I am eternally grateful for my clients who continue to believe in me and our amazing products. It is honor to work for you.
Yours in truth and trust.
