I couldn’t be more proud of him. I seriously don’t know how he does it... the part of him that’s so smart and makes it look like a walk in the park. Yeah... that part. .
He’s always been a pretty quiet kid, done his own thing, taken a few hits in life from the bullies and continues to have a voice, speak up for others, and cruises through (so far) life.
There’s not 1 part of me that is sad I’m missing our big annual conference in Indy right now, not this year. I stayed home and got to celebrate the end of school and the accomplishments of my kiddos, moments you get 1x and you don’t get do overs. .
We all made it through another school year and while that is something to celebrate, it’s also bittersweet. Next year this kid heads off to high school. HIGH SCHOOL!! How is it possible??
And you know what he did after 2 academic achievements last night, you know what he did first thing this morning... grind on the Fortnite. Lol! Because life is balance. .
So today we relax a little, we celebrate, we let the sunshine in and we embrace summer vacation!
More end of school posts to come... beware. #sorrynotsorry
