So last night did not go as planned (if you watch my stories you know a little bit) I was waiting I front if the neighbors house so we could meet up again and the dogs could play. When out of nowhere there is this massively stinging pain in my arm. I look down and there is this maniacal bee on my arm and the stinger is imbedded. I swear it was an attempted hit. Since there was literally no reason for this bee to sting me. I wasn’t even aware it was there. Despite being allergic I reacted the right way. I brushed the stinger out with my nail. Took the Benadryl I keep in my day pack dog first aid kit and dumped my dogs on my neighbor so I could go to the ER. Right after the sting the swelling and redness was probably about 4” circumference by the time I got to the ER it was about 2”. I stuck it out anyway. Got a steroid shot, prescription and finally an epi pen prescription. It’s been 18 years since I’ve been stung by a bee. And I would like to go another 65 or so before it happens again. #bees#canthatethem#dontreallylikethem#gladimalive#andbreathing#staysafe . . . . #sigma35mmart#sonya7#newlens#sohappy#nowtopack#sandiegoorbust#pupventurepack#dogbloggersociety#dogsareagirlsbestfriend#adventuredog#buzzfeedanimals#blueeyes#happyfaces
A picture is truly worth a thousand words. This moment fills my heart with complete joy! I'd done a few miles on the Colorado River and was meeting up with Ashley and the dogs at the pick-up spot. I turn the corner and there are Vader and Leia waiting in the water for me. I love #MyRollDogs
We had a blast at the Pack Walk in Kingsburg! It's such a great opportunity to train your dog to coexist in an environment with other dogs and their people without interacting on-leash. We'd love to see you there next month! Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for the next event.
