Guests sat in front of the traditional southern home with their umbrellas, listening to the rain falling softly on the cobblestone brick, making time with the first few notes of the Bridal March.
As they stood, Cowan started grinning from ear to ear, seeing the first glance of his gorgeous bride. From the traditional lace gown to the bridal blue soles on her satin heels, Elizabeth (@e_clare_ )was the picture of a southern bride, and Cowan (@cwd4au )was by far the sweetest southern groom I’ve ever come across.
Even though they buried the bourbon, God had other plans for these two in the form of sending rain and they took it in stride with the utmost grace & class.
They are my second couple to bury the bourbon. So far, the tradition is 1/2 effective Thankful I have @weddingweatherzilla to rely on for my wedding day forecasts!! (Ps, brides- CALL HER!) CEREMONY & RECEPTION VENUE | Water Oak Manor @wateroakmanor
