Today was a good day. Caught up with an dear ex-EE colleague from London. Realized how different my life is now than 3 years ago. Saw a huge POD of dolphins swimming by as we had lunch (cronulla), received a shipment this morning with some super exciting stuff and signed the contract with Westfield! Day 8: 20.11.2017 Today’s been a very tiring and hectic day. Non stop with no sleep, baby, work and food planning so didn’t have time to post m pictures out. So here goes: Breakfast: broccoli with soy n ginger garlic sauce, 1 small croissant with banana and my vit c drink. Lunch: lentil soup with 5 tablespoons of rice and half a banana. Dinner: 5 tablespoons of rice with mixed vegetables and tofu. Dessert: Blueberries and Mango. Felt a bit extra hungry: Herbal tea with a snack bar. Massive day today milking, feeding new babies, chooks, cleaning chicken coops (with @kiamacommunitygarden help), picking up supplies, the tip and doing deliveries...and then fitting my own 2 legged kids and domestic duties to the list. I felt the pressure of the day that lay ahead of me this morning but after its all said and done, and the day is all but finished I'm able to take a breath and enjoy why I do what i do. I love it.
Now that's a lot of venison! It's midnight now and I've just finished getting all the venison, from this morning's hunt, into the freezer. It's a neat skill to learn, the whole processing and butchering wild game (or farm raised meat). Since hubby watched a video on how to professionally butcher a deer, the cuts have turned out amazing. This makes our dinners turn out much better, because the venison is cut in just the right way to be as tender as possible. It's been fun learning how to have delicious venison and wild game. It pays off with dinners like tonight where the roast just fell apart as I shredded it. Makes everyone happy | #hunterswife#life
