Today was definitely a day of celebration!!! I completed day 80/80 of the program I started back on January 15, 2018. So, it’s taken me double time to finish it (161 days to be exact!) I’ve had my fair share of set backs over these past few months (sicknesses, injuries, minor surgery), but I never gave up. I just jumped right back in to where I last left off. Even after taking a month off to recover from my small operation. It took me 161 days, cause I finished EVERY damn workout. I wanted to be able to say I completed ALL 80 days, not 60 or 75, the program isn’t called 80 Day Obsession for nothing
So...What did I take away from this amazing experience?!?!
(Aside from the weight and inches lost - final results still need to be tallied!) - It’s okay to not be perfect - make things work for you and be more flexible - Doing the ‘hard’ things makes you stronger - strong and healthy is beautiful
- You need to get uncomfortable to really change - follow your heart and trust yourself
- Believe, push, drive and never give up - our mindset is a powerful thing
- Ask for help (when needed) and use your support systems - be grateful everyday
This has been one hell of a ride to say the least and thank you so much to those who’ve been watching on the sidelines. I’m beyond proud of myself and that last move of my workout today was like nothing I’ve every experienced from a workout before. I released so many emotions in that last minute - joy, excitement, gratitude, fulfillment... Thank you again for your love and support along the way. My next journey is officially starting in 2 weeks -July 16th!!! But at least this time it’s only 8 weeks long, which coincidentally is the same length as Summer!
I’ll be prepping and getting myself and others ready before that date though.
