CONFIDENCE means BELIEVING in your self.
Confidence is a muscle, & just like you work out for your body, you have to practice + train confidence. It is not innate.
Tune in, observe your thoughts. When you catch any negative self-talk in the moment - perhaps your automatic programming that’s been there forever - That’s ok! That’s the moment of opportunity! Nothing changes if nothing changes.
So, first we get to acknowledge that those thoughts come from a lack of confidence - they feel something like, “I’m not believing in myself.” In that moment of opportunity, we can practice + train the SHIFT + *lean into* CONFIDENCE by asking: What do I WANT to feel?
Maybe it goes something like this:
“I want to feel confident. I want to believe in my self.”
Ok, how do I believe in myself?
“I back it up.”
Start by giving your self three TRUE statements that you CAN get on board with & believe about the given situation + your self to *prove* confidence to your self. From there, notice how your feelings may start to shift. Then, your actions will start to shift ... Look! You’re earning it! You’re proving confidence to your Self! 👏🏼
