I have been absolutely RAVENOUSLY hungry the last week or so, and I'm not sure if it's because of my period or my new birth control implant... Could be both. Either way, I feel like I've been eating a ton lately. I haven't been doing so well with tracking (as evidenced by this photo lmao) but I'm trying to get better. I tracked EVERYTHING I ate today, and after dinner this is what my daily record looks like.
At first glance it looks AWFUL, 334 calories over?? But then I remembered that my app is set to a very low deficit to lose as fast as possible.... 1070 or so per day, which I am usually perfectly fine eating at and often struggle to exceed.1400 Cal per day is a perfectly normal, healthy deficit for me to lose weight with -- it may take longer, but being at this number is NOT a terrible thing! I have to be careful with how I look at my habits and progress :)
I used to eat way more calories while PMSing before starting keto, so I can live with this.
Sometimes you need to take a step back and look at the whole picture before letting the negative stuff pop up! And even if I was WAY over, tomorrow is another day, and I can always make better choices starting RIGHT NOW.
