Be CONFIDENT. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren't. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept everything you are -and aren't - that you will truly suceed.
Yesterday I went to check my weight, muscle mass & body fat %. It was the first time I’ve checked my weight in months. It was more importantly the first time the numbers on the paper didn’t make me depressed or anxious. I didn’t set a new goal.
If you can focus on making small changes daily-it does add up. Go at your own pace while challenging yourself.
We are all so unique with unique circumstances and challenges. Progress is going to look different for each of us and it doesn’t come overnight. For me that was progress! A huge change from checking my weight daily or multiple times per day.
It starts with a decision to TRY. I’ve gone from doing no sports or exercises EVER...to completing a marathon. To being the girl who eats kale salads and kind bars...Lifting weights....the person others refer to as “fit”. .
A couple of years ago I literally knew NOTHING about any of these things but decided to try. I never ever ran before. I still don’t consider myself to be any of those things. Tacos are still my favorite thing to eat...and fries BUT I do continue to try. I am patient with myself when I get off track but also in a community that motivates me to get back on track. I’d never say some of the things I had made a habit of saying about myself to a friend. Just mean. It’s not my job to be my biggest critic! There are enough of those. .
My weight was about the same as it was months ago. HEALTHY, STRONG, HAPPY, FIT, CONTENT, CONFIDENT, GRATEFUL - the are not measured or defined by a single number on a scale. There’s more to life.

I love looking back at old pics because it makes me realize how far I’ve come. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, but even if I’m not yet where I want to be, I’m better than I was

Back sesh on the cables this morning, cables are my favourite machine I claim one and I stay there for 30/45 mins, people must hate me they are just so easy to do a full workout with♀️
