Here you can see two male Indigo Buntings, the first is a second year male, where the second is an after second year male. You can see the plumage in the first bird, still has some of its brown juvenile plumage, where the second bird has now had a complete molt and is complete adult plumage bird. Over the next few days I’ll be posting on @audubonpa and @rtpinstitute, each day will focus on a particular species, yesterday was the Indigo Bunting. Go check the pages out and make sure you’re following, so you can see the species for today and the next few days. Hope you all enjoy the takeover, many of the photos will be new to @instagram for me, so a good reason to follow both pages.
