SHOULD YOU TRAIN AND EAT HEALTHY ON VACATION? 🤔

Think about this: why are you going on vacation? The reason you are going is probably because you want to relax, because you want to discover the world, because you want to spend a lot of time with your family, friends, boyfriend...
▫️
Now think about this: why would you work out on vacation? Because you want to or because you 'need' to? if it is because you want to, then I would say do it! But if it's because you 'need' to, then I wouldn't. The whole purpose of vacation is relaxing, not worrying about your 'bodygoals'.
▫️
So what about eating healthy? Do you want to eat healthy? Or do you 'need' to eat healthy. Personally, I like to have a healthy breakfast and lunch most of the time but in the evening, I love to have something with more fat and I love eating ice cream and drinking cocktails! The only thing I try to do is eat enough fruit and veggies because otherwise, I can't go to the bathroom 💩 and I love eating them, it's just a bit harder on vacation.

Moral of the story: eating healthy and training is not a priority on vacation. You should do whatever you feel like doing and just enjoy your vacation! I never look very shredded on vacation as you can see in this picture but I know everything will be back to normal after vacation! Do you train and eat healthy on vacation? 💕 #balancedfitstudent

Can Thankful Tuesday be a thing?

I was reading my PD and the author talks about how we need to acknowledge the things we are grateful for. Yes, I am human too and sometimes see things others have and wish for more, but instead, I need to be happy for them and love what I have right now. So today, I am grateful for my job that lets me burn candles, wrap myself in a Santa blanket when it’s cold, and let’s me listen to my own music while I work. These things may be little, but think of all the little things that make your life great.

•35 minutes a day is all it took.⏱

•I committed to that 35 minute workout 4 days a week.💪🏻

•And I did that for 8 weeks.🗓

The 3 days that I had off for rest days allowed me to spend more time doing other things I enjoyed. I felt so much less stress or pressure if I had to miss a workout because I knew I had flexibility to change my workout and rest days to make it work for my schedule this summer!

Flexibility is what I heard other people raving about over and over again as well! It wasn’t just me that felt that way! The “no longer having time” was not an excuse anymore when it only took 2 hours a week to commit to!

I was reluctant 2 post this for fear of judgement but actually its really helping me so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Breakfast is always tricky 4 me as my 1 yr old son gets up soooooooo early, usually between 5-6am, so it means I ususlly end up having 2x breakfasts b4 I take my daughter 2 school at 8.30am. I had looked in2 this a while ago & thought i'd give it a go 😏
So now when I get up I have a #herbalife shake with a pint of water & then when my daughter gets up we have our "proper" breakfast together. This morning I went for a run. Turns out I hadn’t run in eight friggin’ weeks!!! Eight. Friggin. Weeks. 😳No wonder my soul was out of kilter... 😱 What with hurting my back in early August and having to lay off all running and weights, my body has been craving the endorphins and my head the space. So when we woke to an overcast sky, I just had to make the most of the cooler temps and go for it. With the start of the Jewish new year, I must remember to stop making excuses (now that I can move again) and get out there. There’s no better medicine for mind and body. So, may we all be inscribed in the Book of Life and continue a soulful year of mindfulness and movement and whatever else floats your boat. 🙏🏻😘

🌈if the goal is weight loss... set mini goals, likeeeee... eating fruit/veggies and protein will every meal and hit ~10k steps! This will all build up to a big result! Don’t let the “advice” out there throw you off aka “you have to intermittent fast” “you have to do fasted cardio” “train twice a day” ... no... start slow, stick to your MAINTAINABLE mini goals, and you’ll get there with no stress! .

🍏start slow, have your treats, don’t go crazy restrictive but #eatwell and do t forget to enjoy the process! 💫 if weight loss isn’t the goal you can still follow these steps and smash whatever it is... for me... I want to learn a new skill and following these🤸🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️ #featherstonefitness .

So true for me! Especially recently!
Question coming and flooding my mind like:
Am I good at what I am doing?
Why I am having such a difficulties?
Am I enough?
Do people like me? Why they don’t like me? Etc

But then I talk to myself that “stop being such a drama! You get what you want because you can work hard! You can get whatever you want but it will not happen overnight! Stop comparing yourself to others and focus on YOU and your health! You don’t need many people! You just need loyal and honest people! Show up everyday and support those who decided to take care of their health!”

MLMs, Network Marketers, building an at home online business has SUCH a bad rap. 🤷🏼‍♀️ which kinda SUCKS for me 😆 BUT hey I’m always up for a challenge so I’m going to tell you WHY!

You see people start these kinds of business ALL the time — which is AMAZING because I know what this opportunity has done for me, and what doors this kind of business can open for so many peoples lives.
.
But then, when it gets hard - PEOPLE QUIT! 🤦🏼‍♀️ They throw in the towel as fast as it took them to start in the first place... which then makes this kind of gig look like a start + stop business, It rubs people the wrong way, people see people jumping ship and think this business just must not work... .
Which looks STUPID to the people who are WORKING HARD 😫 the ones who didn’t just sign up to “try it out” but then bail the minute it gets tough. The ones who take this career just as serious as the chick in corporate America takes hers. The ones who are putting in the HARD WORK to make this successful! The reason I’m still here while tons are gone: “so often, we pretend we’ve made a decision, when what we’ve really done is signed up to try until it gets too uncomfortable” .
So yes I am still here, building an empire, making an impact on peoples lives, and I ain’t going anywhere any time soon 😏
