Just a bit of bedtime reading!
Over the years the book collection has grown in depth, width, variety, opinion...
Sir John Harvey Jones was the first business book I read and it has inspired me ever since.
Do you have a book that has stayed with you and continues to inspire your growth?
Dinosaur Doo by Andrew Weale & Joelle Dreidemy. I got this on a (not so recent) quick race in & out of the library. Dog pitched up outside, Luke in buggy & Richie at nursery so quick, quick dash. Without too much investigating I decided this book would be right up Richie's street. It features dinosaurs & poo. No brainer! However I didn't account for just how much Richie would enjoy this book. It was a nightly occurrence for weeks. WEEKS! So much so that, we still have it a fortnight after it's return date. Oooops! And it might be the very first book we take back to renew! Winner! Quirky, funny, lots of poo, a loo & dinosaurs too! #dinosaurdoo#librarywinner#raisingreaders#raisingboys#picturebooksofinsta#picturebook#kidsreads#bedtimereads#hodderchildrensbooks
#bedtimereads Prevention through nutrition. Wish this was a mandatory read in every school.
Somebody's busy prepping hard for the test tomorrow! Raising a reader!
Smart tip: start by month 3 .with big bold and colourful books, touch and feel books.
So far we have triedall the ladybird touch and feel books, a to z and and Sophie the giraffe!
“Counting Butterflies” we read a few new books for tonight’s bed time reads
Sometimes there's nothing better than staying in bed late and reading a good book on the weekend. Enjoy the SWITLIK Sleep System with #bedtimereads recommendation, The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer. Curl up, kick off those slippers and enjoy!
Happy Friday, friends!! Has this week felt super long to anyone else?! Maybe it’s because of the short week last week, but MAN am I glad to have the weekend in sight! . .
Usually by the time I get into bed on weeknights I can barely hold my eyes open for long, so I have been picking this book up to read in bed and it’s so perfect for that! Short stories that I can finish off quickly while winding down. Have any of you read it?? What other short story collections should we add to #lucyslittlelibrary? Also, how do y’all feel about reading multiple books at once? I usually have about 3-4 going at a time #tgif
“We danced ‘cross the bridge where the smooth waters flow. The moon was above and the moon was below, and bright in between them I echoed their glow.” #bedtimereads#kidslit#childrensbooks
my very favorite time of day (We are finishing "The Wheel on the School" by Miendert DeJong, and we LOVE it!!) #childrenslit#bedtimereads
bedtime reads. Getting to know the origins of the land, climatic, geologic, ecologic, and anthropologic.
As for climate variability, this clearly shows areas go through decades of different weather patterns. This is easily accepted. As for climate change, almost ten years ago, I was taken aback by the objective approaches of a Environmental Chemistry course and the similarly clear affects they pointed to.
Bed time reading! I suppose it’s not the lightest topic, but it was the book of choice for tonight. Does anyone else have 4-5 different books going at one time?? It’s driving me bonkers; how did this happen! #bedtimereads
Illustration Room Team Repost @brentdraws: You can pick up a copy of my sweet e-picture book over at Amazon (link in profile). It's about friendship and ice cream and is perfect for bedtime reads (it's not too long!). Tell your friends!
