I try to be mindful of my impact on our planet, and try to be less wasteful during my day. I wish I could change the world and help heal our planet and wildlife from all the pollution we've created, but I've come to realize it's our small everyday actions that make the biggest impact. Including what we spend our dollars on. .
When I'm out a carry this bag in my purse or backpack filled with small cloth napkins or handkerchiefs, a small hand towel with utensils, a bigger reusable bag I can pull out whenever I'm shopping, and a couple steel straws. I also try to remember to bring my reusable water bottle and try not to forget it anywhere, haha. I've lost so many bottles forgetting it in random places. I also use these cool reusable produce bags when I get groceries. .
I get weird looks all the time, but I've come not to care anymore knowing I'm making the right choice. It was a weird habit to start up and I started changing It slowly, but I bet it adds up a lot over time.
My goal for the next couple months is to start composting and I think it would help me reduce my trash a whole lot more. .
Are there any ways you feel you make a difference or try to be more environmentally friendly? .
I'm also open to any tips on composting if anyone has experience with it. I'll need all the info I can get since I'm a total noob.
