Loads going on for dinner but couldn’t be happier how it turned out. Cooked the beef cheek sous vide at 57.5°C for 3 days before finishing on the barbecue. Then there is roasted bone marrow, parsnip purée with marmite, sautéed spring greens and a red wine jus. So good. On the side Almasty double IPA.
Gonna keep this one brief because there isn’t much to say about these that hasn’t already been said lol. Ultrasphere was incredible (duh). The addition of vanilla kinda made it remind me of a milkshake IPA. And holy shit, this newish Jack White album. This thing is so bizarre and freaky, and will definitely not be for everyone. But there’s a lot of cool experimentation in this album if that’s your thing
We have four outlandish stouts from @eviltwinbrewing right now but they're going fast! A complex interpretation of Irish Coffee, a tribute to Trillium brewer JC Tetreault with vanilla and coffee and two 17% montsers; one brewed with actual slices of pizza and cash currency and the other with too many desserty ingredients to list. Try all four to see what the fuss is about.

#LorenzoTheBeerCat has claimed these new @hudsonvalleybrewery craft beers as his own. Last Saturday Hudson Valley released two new Sour IPA cans and one farmhouse sour bottle. The first “pink” can is named Internal Reflection, an oat sour IPA with Azacca & Citra. The second can is actually a sour IPA version of the farmhouse bottle with the same name, Soleil. The Sour IPA version is brewed with milk sugar , pineapple , marigold flowers, rose petals and hopped with citra & mosaic powder. The Farmhouse sour bottle of Soliel also is conditioned on pineapple , marigold flowers & rose petals and aged in oak for a year.
