Tonight was a late #night #workout at #24hourfitness #gym .somebody give this place some bright #lights.went in at 10 today for a #back #biceps #reardelts and #traps session.started with bent over #barbellrows followed by #reracks and #deadlifts. I've become a #big fan of barbell #exercises that attack the back.they're so effective its addicting.things have been rough these past weeks both in and out of the gym so some #heavy #lifting is needed to regain my focus in #life.i dont like thinking about anything else but #bodybuilding when I'm here but there are times that you just need to see where your at in life.who's with you and who's against you.god I love this #therapy.

I took a break this weekend to get myself prepared for these next couple weeks. I haven't took 2 days off in a row in forever! But it felt good to spend a relaxing weekend just working on me.
Today I felt strong and decided to do a back and biceps day! I've been having some health concerns that may just boil down to anxiety. But I'm keeping an eye on some things just to make sure. I'll know more probably in the week or so.
While I had to stop a few times to take a breather, I could really feel the burn in what I was doing!
I'm looking forward to working out with super trainer Chris Downing along with the rest of the gang next weekend! So be on the lookout for pictures from that!

The rest of the day I need to focus on my nutrition. I got one bottle of water in during my workout. Now I'm having my Shakeology for breakfast. I'm taking healthy snacks with me today and hoping to remember to push my water throughout the rest of the day. Eggs and maybe some fruit for lunch. And maybe, some chicken, for dinner.

Per anni mi sono chiesto quale fosse l’esercizio, l’integratore o la scheda che mi avrebbe permesso di ottenere risultati in breve tempo.

Con il passare degli anni mi sono reso conto che non esistono “trucchi” ma solo 4 leggi da tener conto:

1.🏋🏼‍♀️Eliminare gli esercizi non essenziali: malfidate da tutti coloro che vi consigliano esercizi di isolamento, lasciate stare tutti quei macchinari e concentratevi sugli esercizi base. Gli esercizi cosiddetti complementari (es. croci ai cavi) lasciano il tempo che trovano.

2. 🏋🏼‍♀️Concentrati sull’aumento della forza: anche io i primi tempi ammiravo in palestra tutti i ragazzi che pensavano solamente a  svolgere superset, rest pause, stripping e che a fine allenamento avevano un pump assurdo. Tutto bellissimo, peccato che il loro pump sparisca appena usciti dalla palestra. Secondo la ricerca scientifica la crescita muscolare è proporzionale all’aumento di forza. Non preoccuparti di nulla se non di progredire di carico.

3 🏋🏼‍♀️Segui un’alimentazione corretta: ho visto ragazzi andare in palestra da prima di me e, ad oggi, avere ancora pessimi risultati. La risposta probabilmente sta in un’alimentazione scorretta.
Calcolate il vostro fabbisogno calorico giornaliero e in base a quello organizzate la vostra dieta, distribuite i vostri macronutrienti ( es. 50% carboidrati, 35% proteine, 25% grassi). .
4. 🏋🏼‍♀️Documenta i tuoi progressi: monitora tutti i tuoi allenamenti, pesati una volta alla settimana e soprattutto fatti dei selfie per confrontarli con quelli vecchi

Today was a good session, finished it with 5 sets and reps of back squats. I usually start at 40kg to start off, then I raisde it gradually to 60kg for the last 2 sets, which is usually a weight I struggled with. The form and depth of the squats probably still need working on, but besides that I am pleased that I pushed myself. Next Wednesday I am going to see if I can do 60kg for 3 sets, then jump it up to 70kg for the last 2 sets. Slowly but surely developing my strength again, just as long as I keeping pushing out of my comfort zone then I should make progress. I will make sure to record a video of my back squats next time, so that I can get your opinions on the form and speed of my lifts. Any tips and general advice is very much appreciated, as I am still a beginner and have a lot to learn and experiment with.

I have had the idea for a while to create a new account specific for my fitness journey, but was constantly putting off for a multitude of reasons. But now that it is a new year I figured its better now than never. Plus I want this year to be the year were I break out of comfort zones and start achieving things that I never thought I could achieve. Which is why I created this account, so that I can write and record things I am accomplishing and things I still need to improve on. I look forward to seeing how I tackle this year and I look forward to hearing what you guys think.
