Focus on gaining strength over losing weight.
Losing weight sounds so negative. When I think about losing weight I immediate think of the word diet, eating less, and cardio . When I think about getting strong, I get excited. I picture myself listing heavier weights, doing more push-ups and pull-ups, eating lots of nutritious food, and building muscle.
After having my daughter sure, I wanted to lose weight, but I never made that my main focus. I knew if I kept it positive and put my energy into getting as strong as possible I would be way more consistent and in turn...get leaner. .
It hasn’t been the quickest or most dramatic transformation, but it’s been a consistent journey without dramatic measures and the results have lasted .
