Figured I'd post this on here.
This is for the presentation of Mea Vulpa and is supposed how to make Toony characters that are still very much recognizable as their species but show personality and stuff designwise and also how to fight same face syndrome. (These were all drawn on the same sketch) Made this example with snow leopards cause they are awesome. The last one is meant as lil joke and shows that certain markings/colors are not good to make the species identifiable. They can be awesome characters nevertheless, just not fit for a realistic/semirealistic project.
Same face syndrome is something I and many artists struggle with and I highly recommend practicing like this! It's not only fun, but you learn a lot about characterization and improve your designing skills.
Ah, also- is it just me, or does the top right one look like Professor Oak?
