Most days we are completely confident in our decision, but other days the thought of the unknown takes over.
It’s this transition time that’s the hardest. We are in limbo as we close on our house, sell our belongings and prepare to take off. And the boys can feel it too.
Today Rowan asked me if his bike was going to fit on the plane. These two right here bike multiple times a day. We literally don’t go anywhere without their bikes, because you just never know when you’ll find the perfect spot. And really anything works; a grassy hill, a dirt path, a long sidewalk, or this incredible bike park.
Regrettably I had to tell him that his bike won’t be making the trip, but we will most definitely find as many places to rent a bike as we can.
He smiled and said “maybe another boy or girl can use my bike when we are gone.” I guess I don’t have to worry about them as much as I do.
