Never posted one of these before as some may say I've not changed that much. But to me I feel it's mental as well as a physical change!
The gym has been my place to get a break from all the difficult things in my life. If your like me with a crazy metabolism and no appetite you'll find it hard to gain weight and muscle mass, I had to slowly increase my food to try and grow my appetite, at first I just wanted to give up because it wasn't working, but I had people around me supporting me and I kept at it and now I have a healthy balance with food
HOW TO BUILD A BOOTY
Swipe to see what I got from my mama vs what I built myself
How to get those peachy glutes is probably one of the most asked question among ladies who are getting started with their fitness journeys.
Here are my tips:
Be consistent & Patient!
It takes TIME to build muscle. It has taken me 4 years to get me where I am currently. Sure I could’ve made more gains if I didn’t spend good chunk of those years cutting and competing, but I am proud of how far I’ve come.
Eat to grow. Use food as your fuel. Make sure to have enough quality protein each day and fuel your workouts with fast digesting carbohydrates.
Lift heavy! & Use correct exercises to grow. Forget bands and bodyweight squats. While those can be excellent for glute activation, they won’t make your booty grow. Exercises such a hip thrusts, deadlifts, Romanian deadlifts and kick backs are excellent to grow your booteh
Make sure you ACTIVATE your glutes before your lifts. It will make a world difference when you finally establish a muscle-mind connection. When doing the exercises, think about your glutes, use them to perform the exercise! •

Hardest part about taking photos of eating, they’re so fake. I never look graceful eating anything, & definitely not eating tacos but man are they good. Shirt is from @wholesomeculture I am loving their printed tees, tanks, & sweatshirts!
