I pray my father doesn’t lose his sight,
And my brother doesn’t toil with his thoughts,
That my sister finds love in the unexpected,
And my sweet mom finds a moment of respite.
The world is mysterious and fickle,
And we are so very small upon it.
That my children will one day know happiness —
For this, too, I pray.
