Depression is one of the very dangerous yet common topic of mental health that no one likes to talk about. When you bring it up with family or friends you get the usual “It doesn’t exist.” Followed by “Your Just Sad” and many more. These sayings are damaging to people with depression & it NEVER helps them. Instead of telling someone how to feel & ignoring their problem, how about WE start to HELP them and one another. Help others to understand this better, help those who feel like they are alone & are a waste of space. I hope my journey brings awareness in a positive way & open the door of conversation. I am still struggling with this & I have been for years. But I WILL NOT LET IT WIN!!! Peace & Positivity. Have a blessed day.
