“Spring is coming. That means we get beautiful [tulips] again in the Netherlands,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Albert Dros. “It’s a joy to see and photograph them every year. This shot was taken during a sunset combined with a storm, creating a nice dramatic red color palette.”

“This is so lovely — just endless tulips as far as the eye can see… AND a beautiful sunset! I agree with Your Shot photographer Cathy Pepin-Toussaint who commented, “Wow, what a gorgeous shot, Albert. It’s like each tulip has captured the colors of the sunset and is reflecting them back to us.” — @natgeoyourshot Producer David Y. Lee (@davidylee)

Photograph by @paulnicklen //Happy Earth Day!!!! A mother brown bear drops a pink salmon off for her cubs next to a river in Alaska and then surveys her surroundings to ensure the safety of her cubs. If we can protect the habitat of these charismatic species then every species below them will be protected also. We have much work ahead. We as a species are going to be either remembered for the great destruction we did to this Earth or the great last minute effort to protect it. What do you think we are going to be remembered for? #followme on @paulnicklen to see all of my favorite megafauna. #nature #naturelovers #bears #mother #family #protect #beauty #love #instagood #instagramhub #bw

One of the things I love about living in Japan and some of the places I visit is the preservation of traditional buildings in a modern city, because the preservation of these buildings reflect the vibe of old Tokyo or in this case Milan. It’s not always the case in every part of the city so if I could participate in the construction of my own neighborhood, I would restore these building and reuse the space w/ the combination of old and modern designs. #MINILiving #BuiltByAll #SaloneDelMobile18 @mini.living #Advertisement

With @natalyosmann. #followmeto Singapore Infinity pool with the inflatable duck. This was one of the initial crazy ones we took. It was around 7 a.m and we were trying to blow up this duck around people that decided to come and sunbath and enjoy the view. ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
Also this was a time when I jumped in a pool with a phone with all the photos we took in Bali and as I you can understand it died and Nataly almost killed me as she recorded some of here interviews on it. Back then our account was really small and we were doing our photos just for fun for about a year. Didn’t realise that it is going to grow into such a community. Thank you guys for all the support that you given us over the years. ❝¿¿Do we have here anyone who followed us from the beginning??❞:)

Mountaineering, photography, drawing — it all came together for British photographer and alpinist Ben Tibbetts (@bentibbettsphotography) at university. “I was studying history of art and fine art, and to pay my way, I was working as a climbing instructor,” says Ben, who now lives part of the year in France. Just beyond his doorstep, he’s spent the past few years climbing all 82 of the European Alps’ peaks that are 4,000 meters or higher and is publishing a book detailing the journeys’ technical routes, historical context and personal stories. “The routes range from easy to really quite hard alpinism, and I’ve climbed every single one of them,” says Ben, who took photos of the mountain landscapes throughout his expeditions. “Being in these mountains is humbling. It’s so beautiful, delicate and majestic — and we all need to do our bit to keep it like it is.” Today on our story, join Ben on an alpine expedition. 🌬️
