Some of my favorite childhood memories were when my brother and I would play imaginary games in our backyard. We would create these grand scenarios (mostly centered around Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Pirates of the Caribbean). I miss those days. But when I’m in Disney, I feel like all the childlike wonder comes back and my imagination kicks into full gear. Anyone else? That’s one main reason why Disney brings so much joy into my life and I love sharing that with y’all!

I have loved watching this father daughter relationship grow over this teeball season. He encourages her. She sneaks him hugs. And of course, they share snacks. Not only do we know the importance of family time, but we also know the crucial piece of actual unplugging and going on vacation as a family and a couple..... So we made a huge decision yesterday, which is taking a huge sacrifice, but needless to say, we made it knowing that our kids are only young for so long.
We want to cherish every single second we have with them and also as a couple so we can continue to grow closer each year.
Life is too short to work for another boss who dictates to you when and how to vacation.
We are a family that not only likes to vacation, but we like to go big when it comes to vacations, and if you continue living the “poor man” mindset, we will never be able to live fully!
