Happiness; The state of being happy. A mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from love, joy, and/or contentment.
What is happiness for you? And how often do you feel happy? I mean, truly happy?
In philosophy, the Greek concept for happiness which is known as eudaimonia refers to “the good flourishing life”.
So, what makes a good and flourishing life?
If you think back to when you were a child or even look at the children around you, they have not a worry in the world! They are full of life, joy, excitement, and happiness. You could say that their natural state is one of happiness?
So, what if our natural state or purpose in life is to simply experience happiness in its truest form?
What changed as you grew older in life?
What went wrong?
What took you away from life’s pleasures?
Why do you feel those constant feelings of frustration, confusion, lack of motivation, sadness, anger, anxiety, or depression?
Could it be perhaps that life simply isn’t going the way you’d like it to be?
You might guess my next question….
So, how would you like your life to be for maximin happiness?
What would it take to reach your “eudaimonia” (good flourishing life)?
This concept has not come about so easily for me. I have been tested and tried and knocked down in more ways than you could imagine. But, I’ve managed to get back up time and time again, dust away the dirt, and create the most beautiful and flourishing life full of happiness, joy, love and contentment, over and over again. And it keeps getting better..
So, I got to thinking, how did I do it?
How did I transform my life from complete despair (you know, that rock bottom place of no-return), to “eudaimonia”?!
I tapped into my own HAPPINESS CODE.
