Here are crew members Alastair and Alex, both flying the flag for #boatingforbrains overseas. Alastair not letting a family holiday to Europe get in the way of his gruelling training regime.
And Alex on the Salt River in Arizona braving 49 degree heat. Go boys!

As a working mom, how do you manage to find the time to work out?
It takes a lot of planning to be able to fit in everything. I usually work out early in the morning, after I put my eldest on the school bus and before my first meetings. There will always be time if you make room for it; you just have to sleep less— that’s all . •
How does sport help you at work? Where do you see its benefits?
For me it’s a great release. It forces me to stay active. It gives me discipline. Working out your body is working out your mind, and not only does it put me in the right state of mind every morning, it is also my ‘me time’. I plan my work day in my head while I work out in the morning; for some it’s in the shower, for me it’s while lifting weights. •
Do you have any advice to the people reading this and want to get into sports?
