I have so much gratitude for everything, particularly all the people and all the love. But most critical is the love for @itsbenstickeltime which i think may be best encapsulated by my vows:
“For years, I used to always ask people how they knew that they were with the right person. I was fascinated with their answer because part of me was terrified, terrified I would miss something, terrified I wouldn’t know when I had found the person for me. Once we started dating, I stopped asking that question, because from early on I knew that it was you. You are thoughtful, devoted, and share in my ridiculous sense of humor. While each of us may have our strengths, we always work together as a team and are willing to compromise without a focus on winning or losing. You allow me to be honest and open and have an innate ability to soften my often hard edges. Most important of all, you are my equal and allow me to be the truest version of myself, all the while providing unwavering love, devotion, and support. From the moment we met I knew you were a good one and in fact was so sure this day would come that I actually wrote a significant part of these vows on the flight back from Alaska, which if you're keeping count was more than 900 days before today. I have never been so grateful for all the twists and turns that led us to meeting in a bar that cold October evening because it makes what we have now work so perfectly.
My vows to you are not promises but privileges; it is a privilege to get to laugh with you, love you, sit on the couch with you and know there is no place I would rather be. But truly the greatest privilege of all is that I am yours and you are mine; it is more than I could have wanted or imagined in life. You are my home.”
