If something is broken, FIX IT! Or find someone who knows how to like #zackjackmerks did here learning how to use a hammer I had a college professor who taught me a valuable lesson, "If you think something is broken, fix it". He explained that he did not have a great experience growing up within the public school system and that he believed it could have been better. "The education system, in my eyes, was broken and I wanted to fix it". He went on to be a teacher, principal, superintendent, adjunct college professor, and is now the executive director of the American Montessori Society in NYC.He developed methods of instruction that he believed would fix the system and has helped so many students in the process.
Little did he know, his methods worked tremendously as I am still learning from him to this day. He challenged me to think of all that I knew and how I could make it better. I decided that as a new father, I wanted to address all of the problems in the fatherhood community that I believed needed some help. What I discovered was that in order to fix any of these problems, I would have to go to the source. I needed to communicate with other fathers who are juggling work and family life on a daily basis.
Over the next several weeks, I will be contacting men who wish to share their opinions, insights, and personal experiences that they have learned throughout their fatherhood journey. These will be men from all different backgrounds, occupations, and ages with varying opinions and methods. Keep a lookout for my future posts. Who knows, you may learn something! #fatherspurpose #father #parenting #life #lifelessons #fitness #tools #dad #dadlife #ilovebeingadad #parent #learning #dadbod #family #kids #coaching #love #livebyexample #leadbyexample
