Eating meat may reduce your skin cancer risk.

The final member of the DNA repair group that can help you reduce the risk of skin cancer is vitamin B12.
It could be suggested that many people put themselves at risk for B12 deficiency by eliminating animal protein from their diet.
B12 in our diets is almost exclusively from animal sources. Liver by far the best source, but other organ meats, regular cuts of meat in general. There are very few plant sources of B12 other than algae, chlorella and spirulina. Im not arguing against vegetarian diets. There actually best for some people. Only be carful to take adequate amount of vitamin B12 and iron.
Taking at least 500 micrograms of vitamin B12 daily you can do so worry free, as with folic acid it’s nearly impossible to overdose.
My final note and opinion: Do we ignore the chorus of dermatologists who are undoubtably good at many things they do but have they forgotten that we belong on Earth. Descending from tens of thousands of generations who never used sunscreen but rarely got skin cancer. Being in the sun is good for you. It’s one of the places you, your children, and grandchildren belong. So!! As long as you take the right dietary precaution and heed your skins warning signs and twinges of sunburn is my biggest point! Why should we not go ahead and soak up some rays.

Do you have this risk factor for skin cancer? The answer may be written in your fingernails.
People are usually surprised to learn that zinc deficiency is sometimes written on their bodies in what may seem like an unlikely place: The fingernails. Go ahead and take a look at your own fingernails right now. Do you see any little white spots. These are zinc deficiency spots.
The best food source for zinc by far is oysters lol... I don’t know about you, but I just haven’t developed a taste for those things 😂. If your the same I’d rely on herring and other seafood, eggs, liver and beef, which are all good zinc sources.
Although zinc is a well known supplement for a variety of skin conditions it’s potential to reduce skin cancer risk is a well kept secret. Zincs critical role along with folic acid and vitamin B12 (which I will be touching on tomorrow) in repairing damaged DNA, zinc will help damaged skin cells restore themselves to health before the same damage leads to cancer.
Regardless of how many foods above you decide to incorporate into your diet, you should also take 25 to 30 milligrams of zinc in supplementation form for the best chance of lowering the risk of skin cancer.
