My quads are tight since starting to work out again- so I’m using some E-Stim to help my muscles relax. I stretched this morning, and just foam rolled, but I’ve still got some knots- so crazy to watch it in action! But it’s such a nice modality to use from home! I’ve always had chronically tight muscles in my legs, and you can feel some small bumpy fascia that I’ve had “stripped” by a PT (which BTW hurt like HELL) and he said I just have a lot of scar tissue from lifting heavy and not really appropriately stretching/ foam rolling to release the fascia. Out of all the transformations I’ve shared, this may be my favorite.
I’ve heard all the excuses.
I’m too busy.
I’m too old.
I don’t have space.
I’ve been this way my whole life.
I don’t cook.
I’m too tired.
You guys. My mother is 66 years old. She works full time at a job that she commutes over an hour to each way. She does her workouts in the little space she has beside her bed. She has never been the cook in the family (sorry, ma) but she has made herself into one! They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. (Don’t worry, mom. You’re not old.) But you all get the point.
How did she get these results? By following the meal plan I gave her and exercising 30 minutes a day, with an extra yoga class once a week that she likes to do at the local gym. She checks in with our accountability group every day and she puts in the work!
I could not be more proud of her and what she has accomplished. I have NEVER in my life seen her so healthy and fit. And that’s what this is about. HEALTH. It’s not about what size you can fit into or what the number on the scale says. It’s about quality of life and FEELING your best. Mom, you are a freaking rockstar and you make me proud to be your daughter.

First time deadlifting anything remotely heavy in a few months. 455 for a single and 405 for some doubles hook grip..it felt like shit but I'm just happy to be deadlifting over 400 lbs again. Thanks @spencedalence10 for videoing these sets for me
So trying to play catch up from last week on workouts since I am behind! did one of last weeks workouts today and still have one more to catch up on! I was going to double up today but my body is like no way! I got light headed and felt like I was going to puke! Ugh so I’m listening to my body and not doubling up! But so glad I did get a workout done! It’s hard being a mom of four seriously y’all I struggle house cleaning, cooking, running errands, working, taking the kids to doctors appointments, working out and trying to take care of Paetyn especially since she’s all over the place these days! It’s all a juggle and a struggle especially since my other half is gone a lot traveling for work! This whole month he’s only been home on the weekends and he’s off to work again! So I try the best I can when I can to get me time in and that’s honestly my workouts at home and sometimes they happen and sometimes they don’t! But I’m determined dang it! Ryan told me today I am a strong woman and somedays I know I am and other days I don’t think I am..but deep down inside I AM! Everyday I get stronger and stronger even though I break down some days! But hey we only get stronger because of those breaking points! So keep on doing whatever it is you’re doing! I was so tired of waiting for things to work out. So tired of losing hope. Feeling like a failure. I felt like I let down everyone I loved over and over again and wasn’t able to see what God had planned for me.
