⬇️ If your anything like me, quads dominate and booty growth lags big time! 😑.......... resistance bands for glute activation during my workouts are my LIFE at the minute, not only for them booty gains, but the glutes play a big roll in the entire back chain stability, including back, hips, knees and ankles, if 1 thing is under performing it will cause havoc every where else!
if you haven't tried them yet, you gotta give them a whirl! ⤵️
I find it really hard to feel my glutes during compound movements and even body weighted glute exercises like air squats, but I find by using the bands, it really helps me mind muscle connect to the glutes and gets my lazy butt firing and doing the mahi! 🍑

I’ve had a bit of an off day today, it’s days like this I’m glad I eat according to what I feel my body needs.

I craved carbs all day and a bit of chocolate so I gave into my bodies cravings, didn’t go over board but had two @jojoschocolatebark bars 😋 and a @doughbardoughnuts crispy bar, along with about half a bag of Boom Chicka Pop, pluswith normal daily eats, morning oats, BCAAs, salad & avocado toast for lunch, PB on jospehs flat bread and big salad and wrap for dinner😄.

Feeling full and happy. I think it’s so important to listen to what your body is craving, fuel it with what it needs. Some days you’ll crave less and some days you’ll crave more and that’s okay!.

I feel like lately I have been just posting to post rather than truly posting for the entire reason I ever started this page. I haven’t been posting many workouts and my posts are slowly becoming shorter and shorter because I just post to post rather than truly post what I’m feeling or putting much thought to them. My goal is to try to post more workouts, to continue posting my struggles, posting progress and putting better effort like I did in the beginning when I started this page back in January. •


Life’s constantly changing and super busy but I appreciate everyone who has followed along my journey so far💕 thanks for the support and hopefully I can progress more and more and continue sharing my journey with you all!



I have been extremely tired lately with working and just life in general and therefore I haven’t had the best workouts land I haven’t shared any workouts because of this reason. Life can be crazy but the journey continues on.

I've tried Adidas, I've tried Asics, I've tried Dr. Scholls super cushioned, I've tried Fila trail runners, and I STILL have achy knees and feel like I'm running with bricks strapped to my feet. UNTIL TODAY. Today I moved up to the big leagues and sprung for a pair of Brooks Ghost 11's. I've heard loads of good things about the Brooks brand, so I went into Dicks and asked the young man in the running shoe section (who coincidentally is an accomplished long-time runner) what he could do for a 37 yr old fat lady who suddenly got a wild impulse to become a runner, has zero business doing so, and oh yes there's also agonizing knee pain due to the aforementioned fatness, could you help with that at all? I thought he'd surely panic in the face of such a daunting task, but he was impressively unintimidated. And then he brought me The Shoe. THEEEE SHOE. I think I saw heaven beams & heard a harp. These shoes, y'all, are like a big soft hug around your feet. They MOLD to you like little shoe elves came in the middle of the night and sewed them around your foot. They're like walking on clouds & marshmallows and pillows all at once. You don't walk in these shoes, these shoes walk YOU. Take. My. How To Avoid Post Diet Weight Regain💪🏽

✅Avoid Dieting Too Long✅Surprisingly, the first step in avoiding post diet weight regain starts during your diet. The longer you spend dieting; the worse off your metabolism will be once you stop. We recommend taking diet breaks at minimum, every three months to reset. Any longer might result in real issues with metabolic health.

✅Avoid Too Drastic Of Restriction✅In addition to duration of dieting, you should also be concerned with reducing calories too far. If you reduce to extremely low levels, you’ll have to dig yourself out of that hole. If you return to maintenance immediately, you’ll gain weight quickly.

✅Reverse Diet✅ If you’ve been dieting for a while, you should slowly work yourself back to a healthier level of calories sequentially. Just don’t drag it out. We recommend being back to normal maintenance calories within a month’s time.

✅Keep Training✅ Once you’re done dieting, you should consider continuing to train. Remember that your calorie requirements also consider your activity level. If you increase calories and reduce activity, weight gain can become a real possibility.

Took a week off from the gym t prepare for a golf tournament and let my body rest. Even though I basically had to drag myself there but it sure great getting back to something I’ve become so passionate about over time . .From the time I began working at 14 I began tracking. What I liked about jobs, what I didn’t like about jobs. I started many different jobs quickly and ‘weeded’ them out just as quick. I began cutting hair for friends in high school and knew I loved it. When I heard it could be a career I jumped at it. I honestly feel like I have barely WORKED a day in my life despite the long 12-14 hour days I have done. Now with Yoga I feel the same way. Fortunately, I have found yet another act which I love and have been able to turn it into a financial power as well. This is possible for you if you so choose and act upon it. Don’t wait any longer. Do it! •
