It’s been super hard to juggle everything these past couple of weeks as I have an exam next Monday and I’ve had to prioritise my revision. My gym schedule has been a bit neglected which has caused me to be a bit rough on myself at times. Thinking about it today though I’m happy with the decisions I’ve made as I’ve made sure I made time for some down/me time. Life can be a crazy juggle at times and creating the right balance is key to not getting too stressed out 😊 the point of my waffle is we all have goals and things we want to accomplish but you can’t push yourself to the point you get burnt out or stressed, look after yourself along the way 💚🌟💚

Surprise! Despite my knee injury I still made lots of progress! Because I can't do any cardio, I changed my calorie intake; I brought it down with 300 kcal less. I also changed my training routine.
During the recovery of my knee, I will train my upperbody 4 times a week with a two body split:

Monday: Chest/Shoulders/Triceps
Tuesday: Back/Biceps/Abs
Wednesday: Restday
Thursday: Chest/Shoulders/Triceps
Friday: Back/Biceps/Abs

This way I hope to keep up my progress of losing weight.

A little update about my good old knee.. It's not as swollen as it was anymore and I'm able to walk with babysteps. I'm still not able to fully bend my knee so I'm having trouble with things like getting in a car or getting up from a bed or a couch. Tuesday my doctor wants to see me again for a check up, then we'll see what he's got to say.. I surely hope it's good news 'cause I'm completely fed up with feeling like this.

Estoy contenta!! 😃 sigo pasito a pasito, viendo pequeños cambios a mejor! Me veo la cintura más lisa y los brazos más estilizados. De espalda noto un poquito menos de grasa! 👏 Y de tripita..ays 😕 me doy cuenta que es de las zonas más difíciles de adelgazar, pero si en tres meses he conseguido que mi tripa de "embarazada" se reduzca así, en un año estoy segura que conseguiré bajar mucho más y lograré todos mis objetivos! 🤗
Con la alimentación voy bien, alguna que otra cervezita al mes cae jajaja 😅 pero no quiero restringirme nada porque prohibirte cosas lo único que hace es frustrarte, crear atracones y dejar la alimentación sana! Asi que seguiré así, comiendo equilibradamente y dándome mis caprichitos de vez en cuando 😋
Estoy deseando empezar con el calendario de Mayo y cumplir ya 4 meses con Gymvirtual! 💪

A lot of people struggle to get enough protein in the day and have structured meals. While the organization of meals varies depending on what a person prefers, having a high-protein breakfast is a great way to help satiate you so you feel less hungry and have more energy through out the day. Here are some easy breakfasts you could make. Feel free to add spices, more veggies, or anything else. Just remember that you want to control your calorie intake/portion sizes for anything you eat.

I finished a 21 day program today!!! 🎉
In between these 2 pictures is 21 days, a lot of sweat, 5 pounds, and a whole lot of gained strength. I didn't even want to take a before picture because I felt so disgusted with my body. But I'm glad I did. I've come a long way in these 3 weeks. •

***80-day Challenge *** Day 80✅ Booty Workout

I did it! Last workout of this program.

This program wasn't easy. I did it follow it perfecty, but I did not give up!
I did the best I could given the busy life I have. This challenge wasn't the only thing I did these past 3 months. It just happened that this is what I posted about in social media but I still worked full time, by the way I was backfilling my boss so work was overwhelming. I still took the kids to soccer and swimming practices and meets/games. I went to the movies, bowling and occasional dinner out. I still did my laundry, grocery shopping, swept my floor, etc. I meditated with my kids and read self-development books. I lived my life but wanted to be stronger, more fit and healthier.

You too can become healthier if you wish. You can start with small steps like exercising 30 minutes for 3 times a week. Then give up soda or something that you regularly eat and is unhealthy. The first step is to make a decision, then take action.

I have been battling my weight for as long as I can remember. I've tried almost everything out there! Diets, gym memberships, personal trainers, B12 injections, etc. Sure, they worked for a little while, but nothing stuck long-term. As what I saw as a last resort, I had gastric bypass surgery in 2006. Over the next year or so, I lost 144 lbs! But, I didn't change anything except the amount of food I could eat. I continued to eat garbage and continued to be sedentary. At my thinnest, I felt like crap, was weak, had sugar crashes, suffered from headaches daily, and my hair was falling out. Over the next few years, I gained back 80 lbs. I finally decided enough was enough! I had already tried and failed in the past, so what do I do next?! I felt lost and alone. When I heard my coach talking about her awesome community, I thought, "Yes! That's what I need!" Positivity. Accountability. Guidance. Encouragement. That's EXACTLY what I got AND MORE! Strength. Confidence. New friends. Courage to try new things. I've come a long way so far, but I'm a work in progress and still have a long way to go. I became a coach because I want to help others like me to NOT feel lost and alone at any point on their health journey! I want to help others find their strength, confidence, and courage! I want to get everyone healthy!

The first exercise can be done either on the floor or on the stability ball. The goal is to pass the ball from your arms to your legs, bringing it as close to the floor as possible without touching.🤲🏼🌝

The second workout is interesting. Your abs and legs will burn while you’re working on your balance and stability! You can add ankle weights if you'd like to make it more challenging! ✨💪🏼

I have vertigo and it can be hard sometimes for me to jump like this! The "attacks" can happen while I'm lifting weights or even just moving suddenly my head 🤕 but I try to include the "balance workouts" as much as I can so that it can help me with my condition! 😄

The last video can take 2-3 tries to find the right position for your arms. When you bring your legs down, make sure that your upper body goes down as well. Once you feel the burn in your core you'll know that it's working! 🔥

3 sets of maximum reps for each move, so 9 reps total. If you’re able to do more than 20-25 on each set, add weight. But remember, form is everything. Quality over quantity! Enjoy 😘
