Well managed to do 38 lengths of 25 meter pool in 30 mins, not too bad and better than two weeks ago when I first started my swimming sessions, hopefully keep improving week by week!

Time under tension (or TUT for short) is commonly used in strength and conditioning and bodybuilding. Essentially, it refers to how long a muscle is understrain during a set. A typical set of 10 reps for an average lifter will take anywhere from 15-25 seconds depending on lifting speed.
Maximize TUT, Maximize Growth! The amount of time you put your musclesunder tension is a critical component of muscle growth. Anyone, from the gym newb to the hardcore lifter, can benefitfrom mixing some increased time under tension techniques into his or her program.

Start the day with proper hydration 💦exercise 🏋️‍♂️ and sun 🌞 (or as much sun as Manchester can provide 🌧) This will help prime your body and mind for the day ahead and set u up for success. It works by helping to set your circadian rhythm. Allowing for better quality sleep and energy levels throughout the day. Something I need to work on myself.
Did a 30 min body weight circuit and incorporated some slow eccentric plyometric pushups. Feeling pumped and ready to kill the rest of the day 💪🏽

🔹Nie je počas dňa žiaden magický čas, počas ktorého by ste mali robiť kardio, aby ste z neho mali najlepšie výsledky🔹Existujú však optimálne obdobia, kedy ich budete mať čo najlepšie, no zohľadniť musíte váš životný štýl. 🔹
➡️Ráno a skoré doobedie
Ak ste ranným vtáčaťom, ranné kardio by vám malo sedieť. Výhodou je, že sa nabijete energiou a budete produktívnejšie cez deň. Nič už nebude prekážať vašim ostatným aktivitám cez deň a budete mať viac priestoru v posilňovni pre seba alebo dať si ešte večerný skupinový tréning 👌
➡️Stred dňa okolo obeda
Ak máte flexibilný pracovný harmonogram alebo chcete využiť vašu obednú prestávku na kardio, tak do toho. Hodí sa to pre ľudí, ktorí celý deň presedia v kancelárii – predelíte sedenie pohybom a tiež si dodáte energiu pre zvyšok pracovného dňa.👌
➡️Skorý večer
Ak chodíte spať neskôr, možno budete fungovať lepšie ku koncu dňa. Výhodou je, že keď už si na cvičenie vyhradíte čas, nemusíte sa nikam ponáhľať. 👌

How many meals do you like to eat per day? I can still remember when I thought I HAD to eat 5 to 6 meals to “keep my metabolism going”. Like if I missed a meal, I wouldn’t get the results I wanted. When I discovered I could get even better results with less meals per day, I could finally stop thinking about food all the time, it was totally freeing.

When my clients make the simple switch from snacking to incorporating a meal between lunch and dinner, they can let go of sugar cravings and energy levels go up.
.
When I used to eat 5-6 times per day my day would look like this
7:30am: protein shake and slice of peanut butter toast in the car while on my way to the train
10:00am: (I would think about food all the time, so next meal would be less than 4 hours later) eat a measured (and tiny – one of those ½ cup containers) portion of fruit, nuts and yogurt
12:30pm: eat a packed lunch or grab something at the salad bar
3:00pm: if I was “good” I’d eat the hummus and veggies I’d brought for a snack, otherwise I’d get chocolate covered raisins or froyo from the kiosk
6:00-7:00pm: if going to the gym I’d eat an apple or homemade protein bar, if I was home making dinner I’d typically snack on chips or something before dinner because all I could think about was food whether I was starving or not

Looking back, I realize how tied to food I was. I would be thinking about it all the time. My energy levels would dip an hour after a meal. The problem with eating 5+ times a day is it’s unsustainable:
1. Meal prep takes more time and becomes overwhelming. So many little tupperwares all over the place.
2. Calories get divided across more meals, so each meal is smaller and less filling. I’d be hungry less than 2 hours after eating versus now where I’m energized for a solid 4 hours.
3. Not being able to ever feel full at a meal can cause binge like behavior. I would always crave sugary foods in the afternoon and at night.
