Sitting on a beach lends itself to deep thoughts... get ready! What do you struggle with most? LET’S FACE IT!!... we ALL struggle. I struggle with feeling like I have to be perfect. I struggle with my competitive nature and always thinking I have to do more, be more...more more more. Do you? It’s so exhausting and it’s not God’s plan for our lives. ——
I’ve always thought that hustling and being an overachiever was admirable and positive but after years of doing it..I’m just exhausted sometimes!! A spotless house, perfectly behaved kids or ripped abs DON’T DEFINE US MOMMAS!! Join with me in deciding what really defines you! What legacy are you leaving. And then, take a deep breath. Take some things off your plate. Read a good book. Take a long walk and talk to God. Fill your soul and find peace
God has helped change this amazing woman's life in a BIG way...all through a little invite post to one of my virtual mind & body fit bootcamp groups that I was running a facebook ad for last May...which her husband saw and decided to share. So thankful he did! Jenna took a leap of faith with me and decided to try an at-home fitness and nutrition program while we strengthened our minds doing a book study on Joyce Meyer's "The Mind Connection". This week she started her 9th program! I wanted to share part of her story on this #transformationtuesday and I pray it would inspire others to make your health a priority... "I started my Beachbody journey almost a year ago. I've come a long way from the woman that was unhappy with her body and not really knowing what to do about it, despite the fact that I'm a registered dietitian. I was working out but not putting my heart into it. I was a sugar junkie and eating processed snack foods due to not wanting to fork out the money to buy whole, fresh foods that I would be the only one eating. Since then, I've developed a love for working out and renewed love for eating well, which includes Shakeology once per day. I'm stronger physically with good results showing in the mirror. I'm also in a better place spiritually than I've ever been. Since beginning my journey, I've maintained a weight loss of 10 pounds and lost a total of 14 1/4 inches. I truly do love these programs and plan to keep doing them. Let's keep ROCKIN' our healthy workout and eating plans, ladies! It truly does pay off in the end!" Please JOIN ME in showing Jenna some LOVE for her fierce determination and amazing results! #nevergiveup#strongnotskinny#becomingmomstrong#bettertogether#fitsisters
Every time I’m dreading a workout and I go through the mental battle and talk myself into it, I AM SO GLAD I DID IT!!! Endorphins... ROCK Feeling empowered... ROCKS SO THANKFUL FOR A BODY THAT IS CAPABLE AND HEALTHY!!! Take nothing for granted
THE SPARKLE IS REAL!! Walked/ran a 5k for cardio today - my quads and shins are killing me so I did as much low-impact walking as I could, but I wanted to push and challenge myself (so I sprinted whenever I had to cross the street!). ♀️♀️ How did YOU #crushcardio today? Comment below!
I just did my first run outside! And it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be! I actually beat my 2 mile run time by 1:30, came in at 24:30. It was nice running out in the rain. Made it easier for me to not have to carry a water bottle. Lol. I was feeling crummy all day. I love my husband. But whenever he’s home, I just don’t have the motivation to workout sometimes because I rather relax with him and our baby. I told him just an hour ago, “It’s so nice outside with the rain... Wonder what it would be like to run it.l And all he said was “Go! Have fun!” And I did. Once you get moving, you won’t want to stop. At least, that’s how it works out for me. I had a little help from this app everyone in my #Hufflepuff team talks about, Zombie, Run! I actually completed the mission as I walked through the door of my house. It was great! I always enjoy immersing myself in another world. Highly recommend it. I hope you all had a great Tuesday! #runnerforlife#fitgirlsguide#fitgirlmom#fitmom#fitnavywife#fitgeek#fitnerd#hpfitgirls#hufflepuffpride#hrc18hufflepuff#hogwartsrunningclub#runningisfun#sweatieselfie#dowhatyoulove#immyownhero#bloomintoyou#2018ismyyear
Did twice my record on the bike today (8 miles in 45 minutes). My legs are now actual noodles but whatever. Yolo.
