It has taken me a long time to not me upset or mad with myself for being an introvert! 🤦🏼‍♀️ It wasn’t until recently that I’ve come to accept that part about myself and begin working on being the best introvert I can be!

So what does that mean? First off, thanking God for creating me as ME and not like everyone else. Secondly, giving myself grace when my anxiety starts to build because the though of doing something literally makes me sick 🤢 And third, pushing myself out of my comfort zone because I can’t GROW in there, I need to step out little by little! .

Today, I stepped WAY out of my comfort zone 😳 I was nervous and excited and I almost dropped out at the last minute 🙈

But I pulled on my big girl pants, basically shoved myself out of my safety bubble, and did an 8 hour virtual training to become certified to teach a special workout program 💃🏼
.
.
It took all day...I did a killer workout...I was tired of staring at my computer screen...but it was SO worth it! Printing out that certificate was so rewarding and this is the second thing I get to check off on my vision board that I completed this year! .
.
Your comfort zone is meant to be broken out of, so I encourage you to sign up to do something that scares the crap out of you and DO IT 👊🏻

16 weeks of hard work right there! 1st place masters and 3rd place open. I couldn’t be happier with my placings. Not too bad for a 47 yr old Gigi!! 😂 So many awesome women with incredible physiques last night! Very proud to be amongst them all. I want to First say thank you to my amazing husband @kbrandenburg64 His support and unconditional love is what kept me going most days. Everyday he has told me how proud he is of me and that I can do anything I put my mind to. He’s washed clothes and dishes and swept and mopped floors because he knew I was exhausted. He’s handled my hangry moods with a smile and “I love you babe”. I love you soooo much baby! #myhusbandisbetterthanyours Thank you @mommy’s body for being such a fantastic coach!!!! She’s not only my coach but my friend! 😍 now to @dumbbells_and_donuts_1221 you’re my inspiration girlie! I turned 27 yesterday and I am in the BEST health and BEST shape of my entire life! 💪🏻And when you feel THIS good you just want to shout it from the rooftops, am I right?! 💃🏼

I wasn’t even this fit in high school! My life has legitimately been changed in just a year and a half and I am continuously blown away. And I almost said NO to this life; like, are you kidding me?! If I had known how I would feel now back then, I would’ve made this change a heck of a long time ago without hesitation. I let excuses like not having time or money stop me and now I want to travel back in time to slap my younger self 🙈
