The reality of your weight loss journey. Most results don't come from a 12 week plan. For most other issues such as lifestyle, mindset and nutrition need to be addressed before you even kickstart this journey. Be paitent, trust in the process and most importantly stick with it even when you fall off track.
I've had the pleasure of training @ashantiqween and her training partner @joanna_motamedi for over 18months.
When I met Nana she was on the "magic keto diet" which didn't get her the result she was expecting. We gradually made nutrition changes and yes even included carbs. Cut her training schedule down and addressed some lifestyle changes.
That's right she ate carbs, trained less (trained harder and smarter) and got better results than when she was on keto, waking up every morning at 5ish am to do her 30mins and on stairmaster and then back in the evening to do some random weight session. All while working herself into the ground with work.
Fastforward weight is down (body fat) and continues to go down. Entered her first powerlifting comp last year and prepping for her second this year. Enjoys life without stressing over her weight and nutrition.
