Here’s my too-early WR depth chart.
1. R. Jr. Van Jefferson (waiting on approval)
2. Jr. Josh Hammond
3. Jr. Freddie Swain
1. So. Kadarius Toney
2. Sr. Dre Massey
3. Fr. Jacob Copeland
1. Jr. Tyrie Cleveland
2. T. So. Trevon Grimes (waiting on approval)
3. So. Daquon Green
If the NCAA approves Trevon Grimes and Van Jefferson, Florida will be stacked at wide receiver. I think Van Jefferson will be #1 on WR-X because he has a lot more talent. From what I saw in the spring game, he was very quick securing the ball and going up for those 50/50 balls. Kadarius Toney will be at #1 in my opinion on WR-Y. I believe Toney will have a huge year next season and will probably be the best wide receiver or one of the best on the roster. Tyrie Cleveland will be at #1 on WR-Z in my opinion. I feel like Cleveland didn’t get as much completions and TDs as he wanted to last season, but with coaching changes, I can understand why. He will be a monster next season without a doubt. If Trevon Grimes is approved by the NCAA, he will be a monster as well this season along with Van Jefferson. These are my opinions, these are not final. I will have an updated depth chart when we get closer to this upcoming season.
