Angel is the sweetest and strongest girl at GOA. She really is the one who paved the way for all of the other special needs goats who came after her. She was my first frostbite baby, my first amputee and my first cart baby. I learned so much through her experience. There are so many things I would have done differently and I hate that. I try to do better with each one, but in some ways, I think I am in uncharted territory at times. Some goats might die because I have not yet learned what I needed to know. Some may not progress as quickly as they could have, had I known more. All I can do, is keep trying, and keep being honest. My volunteers and my staff are amazing and I am confident that if anything were to happen to me, GOA would still go on, and all of these babies would continue to thrive. This is why I am confident that as a team, we can continue to grow, continue to learn and continue to save lives. I know that donating is annoying. I know it takes effort. I know that donating to a boring building fund isn't as exciting as donating toward a new baby, a new cart or new legs. But if we move, think of how many more we can save. I will continue to do my best with what you have all given us. Please consider donating toward our go fund me campaign. It is probably the most important fundraiser we have ever done. We need you. I hate hate hate asking, but I have to. Please click on the link in our bio and check it out. This is our future.
